Update! Here is a photo from Craig Lilyestrom, on his seat conversion for his new Airis Angler kayak. Craig says, “Yesterday, I attached the swivel seat to the aluminum support, and I tried it out today. It works great! Next time I might slide it back a little further, but not too much or it would be in the way of my feet. It’s especially good and comfortable when facing backwards to cast, and when facing forwards it’s comfortable to let your feet dangle in the water. Sideways, this far forwards is not all that useful, but still fairly stable. I got the seat at West Marine — cost around $35.00. And the swivel was bought on-line at Bass Pro Shops for $9.99.”
