This week at the Outdoor Retailer summer sporting goods show, Advanced Elements announced the newest addition to their growing inflatable kayak line-up – the PackLite, weighing in at a mere 4 lbs.

Constructed from fabric-reinforced polyurethane with welded seams, the ultra-lite Packlite is 7 ft 10″ in length with a 35 inch beam. This minimalist kayak sports 3 inflation chambers utilizing one TwistLok and two easy-to-use one way valves. Multiple d-rings provide attachment points for gear.
For even more portability, the Packlite compresses down into a remarkably small package, a mere 11 x 11 x 5 inches – small enough to carry in a handbag. The included mesh carry bag can be clipped to the Packlite body, quickly converting into an on-deck gear bag for securing smaller items.
The Advanced Elements Packlite inflatable kayak comes with carrying bag and repair kit. Maximum weight capacity is 250 lbs. Model #AE3021. MSRP $299.
The Packlite will be available in late 2013. Stay tuned for upcoming details.
